Brooke Bowman is senior vice president, Original Programming & Development, ABC Family, overseeing creative and production on the network’s original series and movies.

Bowman oversees the network’s longest running hit series “The Secret Life of the American Teenager,” critically acclaimed “Bunheads,” from executive producer Amy Sherman-Palladino, and the comedy “Baby Daddy,” which ranks as the network’s top comedy in several key demos. She also handles noted series “Switched at Birth,” which won a 2012 TCA Award for Outstanding Achievement in Youth Programming and a 2012 Imagen Award for Best Primetime Television Program, Drama or Comedy. She also oversaw the launch of brand-defining scripted dramas “Kyle XY” and “Greek,” which helped drive the success of ABC Family’s programming to its targeted Millennial audience.

Bowman previously acted as vice president, Original Programming & Development for ABC Family. Prior to joining ABC Family, she served as executive director of Development for Buena Vista Productions.

Bowman graduated from Duke University with a degree in English.
